“Siamese”… and everything “Siamese” will be the theme of the Siamese Breed Council Breakfast at this year's Annual event in Indian Wells, California. We've designed a fun silent auction that is guaranteed to thrill you as you get the chance to bid on special Siamese collectible figurines donated by Siamese breed judges and Siamese catteries.

The proceeds from the Siamese silent auction will go to support the ongoing costs of the Breed council and Siamese Rescue. "We don't have many fundraisers and this will be a good way to get a new source of funds for the many needs of the Breed Council, said Debbie Stevenson, Breed Council Secretary.

At the Siamese breakfast a special table will display the unique pieces of collectible Siamese figurines. You'll see the pieces that are donated and whose cattery they are donated from. When you see a piece you'd like to own, just write down the amount you'd be willing to pay, and your name. The name at the bottom of the list, with the highest "offer", will make out a check to the Siamese Breed Council, and your collector Siamese figurine will be a very special reminder for many years to come.

Marilyn Moriarty, of Haute-Ming Siamese is the co-coordinator of this fundraiser. "Personally I hope to bid on a piece from one of our foundation catteries or judges", said Marilyn. It should be fun to see Siamese figurines from all over the United States. I hope we can make this an annual fundraiser.

We're planning on our table center pieces being a part of a silent auction also. They will be white, long stem orchids in oriental pots, and people at each table can bid on their centerpiece. We hope to see you at the breakfast.
